Student Journal
One aspect of my technology classes
is the student's journal. Use the
following sample to help you
understand this assignment.
January 1, 2008
The student should begin each class period by
completing his/her journal entry for that day. Please be
sure to begin each journal entry with the current date.
This date must be formatted as HEADING 1. Then
press ENTER twice, press TAB once and begin typing.
The student will be free to write his/her independent
thoughts some days, but specific topics will be
assigned on other days. The journal entry for each day
should be at least 100 words. The computer will count
your words for you if you highlight your journal entry,
select TOOLS from the top menu bar and select WORD
COUNT. Additional instructions are available on pages
182 - 184 in the Glencoe Keyboarding Connections
Projects and Applications book (red).
